The NF Community

NF is Godly Community

At None Forsaken we believe in community groups. As a matter of fact we don't even have a building. Nope not even for an office. Everything that we do, we do from homes or churches. Any small church is a community group and any big church has several community groups, so what is so great about NF community groups? Great question, we never thought you'd ask.

NF community groups focus on young adults and teens. Community group leaders are vetted volunteers who open their homes to do community. Though, don't think your typical small group setting that meets once a week, unless something else comes up. Our groups do so much more together. Yes we believe in Bible Study groups and as a community Bible Study is one of our top priorities. However, we don't just read the Bible together once a week. We do life together every day.

If you're interested in starting an NF group you have several options. Perhaps you already have a Bible study or small group that meets weekly. Just partner with NF to open your group to young adults and we'll provide you with resources such as books, study lessons, and a community of believers that stretches from coast to coast.

Or maybe you don't have a group but would like to start one. Great, we thrive on new groups. Open your doors to the many young adults who leave home that they might be able to stay connected to godly community.

There are several benefits to being connected to the NF community. If you belong to one community group, you belong to them all. Of course there are some exceptions, such as some of our groups are male or female only groups, especially the teen ones. However, if one of our NF teens graduated high school in Orlando, but is attending college in Portland he'll have a place to call home the first time he rests his head.

So what about the teens who leave home and go somewhere that does not have an NF community? That too is a great question. Our goal is not to keep people in an NF community, but in godly community. If one of our teens goes to an area without an NF community he or she will have a home mentor. That mentor is someone from home, perhaps a youth group leader, another NF community group leader, or another person who stays in contact via (pick you method) to ensure that the teen gets connected to some godly community wherever they go.
